Created by Inter Cars, the „Young HR” programme is a support not only for the students and schools, but also for the garages. Perfectly prepared and trained on the cutting-edge devices employees must use their skills somewhere. Professional garages are the best place for them to do so.
The „Young HR” is a project of Inter Cars SA, in which the Company cooperates with schools all over Poland, offering them modern equipment for repairing vehicles and diagnosing car malfunctions and also delivering the know-how needed to educate future mechanics. This is made possible by bringing two worlds together: business and education. Partners of the programme are leading manufacturers of automotive spare parts and garage equipment. The project supports knowledge contests and internship for the best students. So it is a kind of a professional springboard, thanks to which the start of professional life should be made easier.
Currently Inter Cars cooperates with 17 schools as a part of the programme. These are: Zespół Szkół no 1 in Piaseczno, Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego in Grudziądz, Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych no 22 in Łódź, Zespół Szkół no 6 in Tychy, Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego in Częstochowa, Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Nowy Sącz, Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego in Białystok, Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego in Siedlce, Zespół Szkół Zawodowych no 1 in Nowy DwórMazowiecki, Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych no 1 in Krakow, Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Bydgoszcz, Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Radomi, Zespół Szkół named after Armia Krajowa in Jedlicz, Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych in Opole, Zespół Szkół Samochodowych named after Syroczyński in Lublin, and also Zespół Szkół Politechnicznych named after Powstańcy Wielkopolscy in Śrem.
This potential just has to be used
Thanks to support of Inter Cars, the young people get to know the most up-to-date techniques and learn on state-of-the-art devices. As a result they are perfectly prepared to work. But to make this preparation even better, one needs internships and professional practice. That is why it is so important for garages associated in one of garage chains to be open for those pupils. What is more important, their potential is the answer to current problems of garage owners. The „Young HR” programme is mechanics, which are so scarce on current market: educated, trained, prepared by the best and knowing the equipment.
Our customers admit that it is difficult for them to find employees. That is why we encourage them to use this human resources, whose education is supported by Inter Cars - says Marta Ciesielska, Inter Cars garage chains deputy manager.
The Company supports not only the students, but also garages. Offering them, among other things, organization of promotional campaigns, encouraging taking up internships in particular garage, or contests in which the main prize is an internship in a particular garage. Currently Top Service Truck from Sokołów takes advantage of such support.
- Looking for new employees, we notice lack of qualified candidates. The reaction to a job offer is small, and if someone comes up, very often these are people who are absolutely not prepared to do this job. We hope that thanks to cooperation within the “Young HR” programme, we shall get young people being a good material for future mechanics. We believe that thanks to a cycle of trainings they underwent and learning on professional and modern equipment, they shall be theoretically and essentially prepared to work. The fact that these are pupils who do something that needs staying after classes if very positive. This is a proof that they have will to do something. And if there is will and energy, there is a chance for success - says Marcin Kądziela, manager of Top Service Truck.
