Warsaw, 06.03.2014 (ISBnews) - the Council of Ministers adopted a regulation, under which Warmian-Mazurian Special Economic Zone will be broaden by approximately 30 ha for three new investments, which will produce amount of about PLN 435 million, announced the Government Information Centre.
"The area will be on 30,1249 ha of land for three new investments. So, in the near future, thanks to them there should be at least 360 new jobs, with investment on the level of around PLN 435 million. It is expected to create approximately 90 new jobs around the zone and to keep already existing 629 jobs. After the change of the borders, the area will cover 1014,8810 ha." - announced the message.
The following companies shall invest in W-M SEZ: Mlekpol, Polmlek and ILS from Inter Cars Group
ILS is planning to create a modern, European logistics centre in the neighbourhood of Warsaw-Modlin Airport. "It is supposed to take over most of logistic operations of the Group in Poland and Europe. The project shall cost around PLN 155 million. The centre shall employ around 200 people. The company is to keep 55 existing jobs as well. It is expected that the company shall maintain all jobs, new and existing ones, for the period of 5 years from the date of establishing all new jobs. The expected date for ending the investment is end of 2018 " - can also be found in the message.
Regulation shall come into force on 5 June 2014
