53 stock exchange companies were qualified to the second stage of the Holden Website competition, organized by the Polish Association of Listed Companies. Now they shall be fighting to enter the third stage in which we will get to know the winners of the competition.
During the 1st stage of the contest all the websites of companies listed on WSE as at 29th August 2014 were assessed. The companies were divided into 5 competition categories: Polish listed companies belonging to WIG30 index; Polish listed companies belonging to WIG50 index; Polish listed companies not belonging to WIG30 and WIG50 indexes; Polish companies listed on alternative NewConnect market; all foreign companies listed on WSE (including the NewConnect market).
The fist stage included analysing 900 websites of listed companies. The following aspects of the website were assessed: speed of response to inquiries of investors, operations of internal search engines, positioning of the website in internet search engines, the use of modern ways of communication with investors – said Mirosław Kachniewski, President of the Board of Polish Association of Listed Companies.
During the second stage (12 February 2015 – 10 April 2015) the websites will be assessed by over 30 specialists in 9 areas belonging to the Competition Jury. In the second stage, the Jury will analyse the messages as regards clearness, information content, communication with investors, innovation, intuitive navigation, ergonomics, compliance with the rules of navigation, technologies used, aesthetics, and opinion of individual investors, institutional and foreign investors. The Jury will than appoint 3 candidates from each competition category.
The winners of the competition will be chosen in the third stage (14 April 2015 – 22 May 2015) by the Chapter of the contest, which will be composed of representatives of financial market institutions and the most renowned professionals of graphics, marketing communication, journalism, economy or investor relations.
The award ceremony will take place on 10th June 2015 during the 7th Congress of Investor Relations SEG.
The Golden Website contest has been organized by Polish Association of Listed Companies since 2007. The aim of the contest is to improve the level of corporation communication on-line on Polish financial market.
