The grand opening of the first in Poland authorized showroom and servicing garage of ISUZU commercial vehicles and and lorries has already taken place. The event had a really original, Japanese character. There were Samurais, Geishas and delicacies from the country blossoming cherries.
On Wednesday, 28th May the first in Poland authorized showroom and servicing garage of ISUZU commercial vehicles and and lorries was open. This is also one of very few showrooms in Europe, where in one place there are pickup trucks, commercial vehicles up to 3.5 t GVW, lightweight trucks 3.5-7.5 t GVM, and trucks 7,5-12 t. For this reason it was an important event not only for the owners of the showroom - Q-service truck Sp. z o.o. Company, but also for the whole automotive market.
For guests arriving to the party there have been many attractions inspired by customs of the country of blossoming cherries. At the entrance, there were geisha girls welcoming guests with a glass of plum wine. After that, during a multimedia presentation, Michal Wisniewski, managing director of Q-service truck Sp. z.o.o., ISUZU dealer told some history of creating and engineering vehicles. He also presented data confirming the leading position of Isuzu make on international market environment.
Presentation was preceded by speeches of Members of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA. Krzysztof Oleksowicz, founder of Inter Cars SA announced the latest investment of the Company - construction of the most modern logistics centre in Europe - in Zakroczym.
- "In the last 24 years, besides selling spare parts, we have been able to realize various other ideas, such as semi-trailers production in Feber or remanufacturing of spare parts. Inter Cars still has many other ideas to realize, one of them is ISUZU." - said K. Oleksowicz.
The following spoke Witold Kmieciak, Member of the Board of Directors of Inter Cars SA. and the President of Q-service Truck, who mentioned something about creating a Competence Centre. As a part of it there will be trainings, among others.
- "We do not want to train mechanics in laboratories, but in modern garages. They will have to deal with the real car fleet." - he said.
Robert Kierzek, the President of the Board of Inter Cars SA said, that Inter Cars is to be a market integrator in the future, "one stop shop", i.e. , everything in one place. Inter Cars provides not only spare parts, but also all the possible solutions for automotive industry.
There were also representatives of Isuzu Automotive Poland and Isuzu Truck Poland at the opening.
- "Inter Cars SA approached cooperation with ISUZU very professionally. We will do everything to make this cooperation be the best it can." - announced Michal Kremky from Isuzu Trucks Poland.
The culmination of the official part was a demonstration of samurai fight. One of them was Shihan Tomasz Piotrkowicz, founder of School of Samurais, holder of the highest master degrees, professor of martial arts, teacher of senseis.
The guests also got a surprise - a prophecy hidden in cookies. Among them there were such awards as the trip to Isuzu assembly line in Italy, D-Max pickup for the weekend with full tank and also participation in tests and co-drives in Oleksowicz Rally Team.
In the second part of the ceremony, there was a solemn cutting of a ribbon made by Michal Wisniewski, Krzysztof Oleksowicz, Jacek Kowalski, mayor of Nowy Dwor Maz. and Antoni Kręźlewicz, mayor of Czosnów. Isuzu showroom was announced open.
An additional attraction was a real off-road events in Isuzu pickups. Guests willing to try some automotive adventure could test D-MAX in muddy conditions and in the water. Set route led through meadows and forest. The safety of the excursion was provided by professional instructors, who helped to drive through all difficult sections. D-MAXes coped with every challenge. After the automotive emotions, participants of off-road excursion were awaited by hot refreshments in Show Car.
