The government decided to include in Warmian-Mazurian Special Economic Zone another 30.1 hectares. Three new investments are to be built on this area with a value of around PLN 435 million. Thanks to them 360 people is to find work.

After changing the borders of the zone it shall increase to 1014.8 ha. The regulation shall come into force on Thursday.

One of the investors in WMSEZ will be Dairy Cooperative Mlekpol with registered office in Grajewo. This is the largest such company in Poland. The company intends to start a new plant processing milk and whey in Mragowo. 90 people is to find employment there. The value of investment is PLN 130 million. The plant is to be launched in March 2018.

Another milk processing company which will invest in Warmian-Mazurian SEZ is Polmlek in Lidzbark Warminski. Company, which produces yellow ripened cheeses, wants to develop a modern technological line for drying whey. The production line shall cost PLN 150 million. It shall give employment to 70 people and 574 jobs shall be kept. The investment is to be realized by the end of December 2016.

Third investor who is in the SEZ, is ILS company belonging to Inter Cars SA Group - the biggest in Poland, and one of the world's leading distributors of automotive spare parts in Europe. ILS is planning to create a modern, European logistics centre in the neighbourhood of Warsaw-Modlin Airport. The project shall cost around PLN 155 million. The centre shall employ around 200 people. The company will also keep 55 jobs. The Centre is to be realized by the end of 2018.

In Warmian-Mazurian Special Economic Zone work approximately 40 companies, where is 13.3 thousand people found work. The value of investment is PLN 3.3bn. Investors declared in the coming years expenditure of around PLN 2.6 billion.
