Inter Cars SA has opened a new branch. It is located at Lazurowa street in Warsaw, just next to the S-8 road, and it is the largest branch of the distributor in Warsaw.

The grand opening of the branch took place on Saturday, 12 July 2014. Solemn opening ceremony was made by Krzysztof Oleksowicz, member of the Board of Directors and founder of Inter Cars, with vice-president of Stare Babice commune, Marcin Zając. nowa filia ic.jpg

- "I am very pleased with the development of our branch offices, because new subsidiaries are not an investment of Inter Cars company, but they are investment of branch owners. I hope, that the sites will be willing visited by our customers who will do their shopping here. Congratulations on your undertaking and I wish you further successes." - said K. Oleksowicz.

Co-workers, customers and invited guests came to the grand opening. Among themwas member of the Board of Inter Cars, Witold Kmieciak, central warehouse manager, Miroslaw Matuszewski, and Michal Wisniewski, managing director of Q-Service Truck Sp. z o.o. , dealer of Isuzu brand. Father Miroslaw Nowak, who was present at the ceremony gave the blessing.

The premisses located at Lazurowa street are the largest branch of Inter Cars in Warsaw and one of the largest in Poland. It has a three-storey warehouse with area of 1000 m2, and sales area and offices reach 500 m2. The building has disabled facilities. There is also a training room.

A number of improvements were implemented in the branch which shall help customers navigate through it. There are, inter alia, clear markings of sales paths. Places of sale of parts for passenger cars, cash registers and collection of the goods were clearly marked. Emphasis should also be placed on the exhibition of available goods. Branch Manager works together with the sales team, thanks to this he can quickly and easily respond to customer needs.

Also much more efficient is now goods release from the warehouse, thanks to radio terminals. Using them all the goods are put on stock and collected for orders. All delivery routes are carried out by definition of transport routes, i.e. goods are delivered to customers five times a day at fixed times. By the end of 2014, a conveyor is to be launched in the warehouse, which shall additionally support the service. Goods are supplied to the branch 5 times a day, the first delivery is already at 7:15 in the morning.

Accessibility of the branch shall additionally be improved by launching a call centre and a large car park in front of the building. Additionally, all delivery drivers supplying goods were equipped with credit card payment terminals.

Currently the branch serves only customers from passenger car market, but in the coming months there shall be also parts for heavy duty vehicles. A subsidiary was created in innovative technology, which allows increase stock levels by 40% without the need of enlargement of a storage building. Its spaciousness also affects further development, such as opening Inter Motors showroom.
