On the turn of the year and at the beginning of 2015 the distribution chain of Inter Cars SA. increased with new branches. Some new branches were opened and some changed location. In 2014 Inter Cars opened in total 13 new branches, and 10 branches changed location. Currently the company has 169 branches in Poland. In January 2015 selling process was launched in branches in Przeźmierowo and Sosnowiec.
Ostrzeszów. In branch at Wojska Polskiego avenue (next to the road leading to Ostrów Wielkopolski), was established within Łódź Group of branches. One can buy there spare parts for passenger cars and trucks. The goods are delivered to customers twice a day on two delivery routes. In order to make work of the warehouse more efficient, the company implemented a full radio system, and the branch was assigned to call centre operating in the Group - so if the phone line is busy or a call is not answered in Ostrzeszów, the customer will be automatically switched to another location within the group, where they will be served anyway.
Zduńska Wola. This branch moved to a new location in the middle of the year. The outlet moved from 1-3 Plac Krakowski to new premises at Getta Żydowskiego street (the road between Łódź – Sieradz). The branch now has a much bigger warehouse area than before (around 250 sq.m.), thanks to which more goods are available at hand. Spacious selling room with clear marking of sales path allows for faster service of the customer. The branch is selling spare parts for passenger cars and trucks. There are also two delivery routes realized each day to customers. Here also the call centre and full radio system of the warehouse management were introduced. The outlet belongs to Łódź group of branches.
- In the year 2015 we decided to go for development of sales of spare parts for heavy goods vehicles, semi-trailers and tyres. We are also increasing the storage area and improving the standard of all our branches – says Rafał Kwiatkowski, Łódź Group Director.
Przeźmierowo. The branch is located at Magazynowa street, moved from Wysogotowo. It is located in own building, adapted for the needs of selling automotive spare parts. The new building has more office space. This fact made it possible to satisfy the needs of all the departments. And it was even enough space for a conference-training room. A spacious warehouse allows for more effective management of goods - there is also bigger availability of fast movers. Also a call centre and full radio warehouse management system were implemented in this branch. The goods are delivered to customers on four delivery routes, four times a day. The branch sells spare parts for passenger cars, chemicals, garage equipment, and soon the product range will also include spare parts for trucks.
Sosnowiec. Next to the S1 road (Logistyczna street) one can find a new branch with goods for passenger cars and trucks and also the main regional warehouse of Inter Cars. The branch and the regional warehouse were both moved from Mysłowice, and thanks to this operation they gained additional sales and storage area. The company sells spare parts for passenger cars, heavy goods vehicles, garage equipment, tyres and chemicals. The truck division is located in a separate sales room.
