At the end of September there shall be the finale of Master Mechanic programme. The new formula of Inter Cars contest was so popular, that the organizers took a decision about its continuation.
The on-line phase of Master Mechanic competition ended at the beginning of September. Starting from 18 July, almost 900 people – employees of automotive garages, took part in virtual journey by American Route 66, during which they had to solve different kinds of tests and problems. This way they were developing their technical knowledge.
The grand finale
The grand finale of the competition is planned to be held at the end of September. Top 10 mechanics will take part in it, in passenger cars and trucks category. The finale - not in virtual reality - will be held in Inter Cars Training Centre in Czosnów, where the contestants will have to face technical tasks, malfunctions and errors of real vehicles.
The winners of the contest shall be given rewards that will be helpful in developing the garage and build competitive advantage. All the participants of the finale shall also be delivered special materials, prepared by partners of Master Mechanic programme, leading manufacturers of parts. The winners of both categories (passenger cars and trucks) will be invited to a free of charge training "Automotive air-conditioning systems – construction and diagnostics", after which they will be given a certificate in compliance with EU Regulation no 307/2008 of 2 April 2008.
This is not all.
This year's edition of Master Mechanic was so popular, that not all the candidates managed to sign in to the competition. As a result, Inter Cars took a decision on continuation of the programme and the virtual journey by Route 66. The platform www.mastermechanik.pl remains active, and garage owners can still register their employees to take part in this free of charge development programme.
