The Minister of Economy, Mr. Janusz Piechocinski on his Facebook profile commented on the participation of Inter Cars in Warmian-Mazurian SEZ:
In Warmian-Mazurian SEZ will be 360 jobs more. Creation of these 360 jobs is the effect of new investments, which will be realized because of extending Warmian-Mazurian Special Economic Zone. Companies will invest in new projects there PLN 435 million. The Council of Ministers on 3 June 2014 adopted a regulation amending borders of Warmian-Mazurian SEZ. The zone, which has increased by 30 ha, includes areas of Mrągowo, Lidzbark Warminski and Zakroczym. Dairy Mlekpol in Mragowo will build new plant processing milk in Mrągowo which will use the most modern technology, particularly in the field of environmental protection. The investment will bring about 90 new jobs. Investment cost will reach around PLN 130 million. POLMLEK sp. z o.o. in Lidzbark Warminski shall install cutting-edge line for drying whey and production of whey protein concentrate WPC and lactose. The investment will bring about 70 new jobs. Investment cost will reach around PLN 150 million. And ILS Sp. z o.o., the leading distributor of automotive parts in Europe, shall create a modern, European logistics centre based on innovative technology. It will take over the main burden of logistic operations of Inter Cars in Poland and in Europe. This will create around 200 new jobs, and the amount of investment shall be around PLN 155 million.
