- The hit of Polish economy are automotive spare parts and accessories. Surely the relations between giants of automotive market must be settled. Between huge concerns of car manufacturers and small business, represented by many family companies. Since I am representing the sector policy, you can be sure that your voice will be heard. Here, I wish to oblige the sector represented by SDCM to work methodically and consequently. I hope that it will be possible to work out rational ideas, for which the point of beginning will be reliable analysis and reports, informing impartially about current state and consequences of implementing the legislative changes on the level of EU - ensured Janusz Piechociński.
Robert Kierzek, the President of Inter Cars SA. and Alfred Franke, the President of the Automotive Spare Parts Manufacturers and Distributors Association talked about motorization in Poland and in Europe. The competence on aftermarket was a topic of the speech by Joanna Szkudłapska-Włodarczyk, Manager of Aftermarket in Mahle Poland. Other speakers talked a lot about implementation of EU regulations, which contents might favour motorization concerns. They discussed, among others, the influence of EU regulation MV BER (461/2010) on independent automotive aftermarket, and threats resulting from the temptation to monopolize the functions being a part of telematic systems.
The meeting was finished and summarized with a debate between: Paweł Hańczewski - commercial director in Bosch, Sławomir Góralewski - IAM Sales Director Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia TRW Automotive Aftermarket, Robert Kierzek - the President of Inter Cars SA, and Bogumił Papierniok - CEO of Moto-Profil.
