Looking at the stock exchange listings, one may conclude that in many cases the results have more than improved.
The financial reports publishing season is about to reach its peak. In the last week of August, the results are to be announced by three quarters of the companies listed on WSE. Investors know exactly which companies have really improved their financial results.
They have big hopes about Inter Cars. Its stocks have increased by nearly 50% since July.
During the recent trading sessions, the stocks of Inter Cars have reached historic maximums nearing PLN 180 (PLN 175 on Friday). The monthly sales results prove that it had a very good last quarter. After the winter stagnation, the company recorded a two-digit growth in turnover month by month. After the first six months, the total sales of Inter Cars jumped by over 13% to PLN 1.6 b. It looks like this year the company’s sales will be record-high. Inter Cars owes the improvement to the increasing turnover of its distribution subsidiaries operating in several markets throughout the region.
