Inter Cars wants to keep a two-figure dynamics of sales revenues increase in 2014, it also expects stabilization of profitability. The company wants to enter Slovenian market, and in Poland it is planning investment in new distribution centre - Krzysztof Oleksowicz, member of the Management Board and the main shareholder informed PAP agency.

“We are expecting that first quarter will be a very good one, and additionally we need to remember about the effect of having so called low base – the most dynamic increase was recorded in April last year” – said Oleksowicz.

“Since April the increase of sales revenues will probably be “levelling off”, but in a yearly perspective we should be able to keep a two-figure sales increase” – he added.

The report from January states that sales revenues of distribution companies of Inter Cars reached in 2013 the amount og PLN 3.47bn, an increase by 17.8 per cent YoY.

The Company expects further dynamic development in truck and tyre market segment.

“Previous year our distribution of spare parts for trucks and distribution on tyres recorded quite a big increase and we are expecting to see the same this year. In truck segment we want to grow twice faster than the market” – said Oleksowicz.

Vice-President and main shareholder of Inter Cars SA also informed that the company expects to keep the levels of profitability from the last year, after a slight increase in 2013.

Oleksowicz also informed that Inter Cars SA is planning to launch its operations in Slovenia. As of end of 2013 Inter Cars had its foreign distribution subsidiaries in Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria and in Italy.

The Company is planning to make investment in modern logistic centre.

“Increasing the scale of operations forces us to develop sales support programmes, IT systems and logistic systems. That is why we are planning investment in new logistic centre in Zakroczym which will include the most modern in Europe solutions regarding transport, storing and collecting goods" – said Oleksowicz.

Last year the Company bought a land of 11 ha in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki region. The premises are close to road connecting Warsaw with Gdańsk and close to Modlin airport.

Inter Cars SA. is the biggest automotive spare parts distributor for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and trucks in Middle-Eastern Europe. (PAP).
