Inter Cars increases not only sales revenues, but also profit. Also sales revenues in foreign subsidiaries are growing.  On the other hand export sales is decreasing, because of conflict in Ukraine.

Consolidated net profit og Inter Cars Group reached in the first half-year 2014  PLN 85.7m, an increase of over 39 percent in comparison to the same period a year ago.

Operating profits rose to PLN 111m from PLN 86.5m a year ago.

Sales revenues in the reporting period reached the level of PLN 1.86bn, an increase by 13.9 percent YoY.

Export sales, i.e. direct sales from Inter Cars S.A. to foreign countries, mostly to eastern countries and to foreign distribution subsidiaries in total rose in the half-year period by 14%.

Direct sales to overseas contractors in the first half of 2014 amounted to PLN 101m, i.e. a 16.5% decrease compared to first half of 2013. The main reason is a reduction in demand in Ukraine as a result of geopolitical situation and conflict with Russia - explains Inter Cars in its report.

Sales by overseas distribution companies in the first half of 2014 amounted to PLN 504m ,i.e. accounting for a 24% growth.

Just like in the 1 half a year 2013, the sales of the overseas distribution companies have been more dynamic than the export sales of Inter Cars S.A. - explained the Company in a communicate.

The revenues of Inter Cars at home accounted for app. 67% of the total revenues of the Capital Group (taking into account consolidation exclusions) and remains at the same level as in first 6 months of 2013. The Polish market remains the basic sales market for the Capital Group, as Inter Cars emphasizes.
