Inter Cars SA.won the glorious second place in the rank of Company Apple-Eaters.  The competition was organized by editor of Puls Biznesu.  

 
The Editing Team of Puls Biznesu organized the contest for the companies, which in response to Russian embargo, bought apples for their employees and customers.  The companies could register in the contest within the whole October.  Official results were published on Monday 3rd November.  Inter Cars won the second place in the rank of Company Apple-Eaters with glorious amount of apples - 17 tones. 
 
Some day, on the initiative of Robert Kierzek, President of the Management Board, apples appeared in the office buildings of the Company in Czosnów. At the beginning there were not many of them, but as the time went by, crates with apples appeared in much bigger number. The apples were tasty, smelt nice, and employees reached out for them more and more willingly.  The campaign was so much liked by the employees, and also by the customers collecting goods from the branches, that the Board decided to continue it. 12 tons of Polish fruit bought from Polish farmers were sent to almost 160 branches. Everyone accepted them with enthusiasm. Also customers visiting the branches paid attention to the apples, and the employees shared them willingly. Day by day the interest in Polish fruit was getting higher and practically in the whole chain of Inter Cars SA. in Poland, everyday an apple accompanies our work as a mental support and solidarity with Polish economy. We also had to have apples during 14 Expo of Spare Parts, Tools and Garage Equipment and INTER CARS MOTOR SHOW. Both events took place between 5 and 7 September 2014 at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw. Apples disappeared in a matter of seconds. Just within one weekend we gave away over 8 tons of apples!
 
Inter Cars have even announced a competition for employees for the best photo with apples. Tens of photos came, at which one can see that eating apples was an inspiration to act.  In order to thanks, the company prepared small gifts for the best three photos. The rewards in the form of company's statuette and automatic apple peeler went to Czosnów (ILS) and to branches in Wrocław and Siedlce.
 
The campaign realized by Inter Cars SA. "Eat apples, support Polish farmers" resulted from nationwide campaign in social media "Eat apples against Putin".
