Third year in a row, Inter Cars SA, in cooperation with its business partners, organizes the Young HR programme, which is supposed to make it easier for pupils of automotive vocational schools to enter their adult working life.
The programme is supposed to be a king of a trampoline thanks to which young people will have easier start in their business career. Within the first two editions, the programme was joined by 10 schools, and the trainings were participated by 600 pupils. Till now each of ten schools got devices worth PLN 100,000 and a training package worth PLN 30,000 – this in total is an impressive amount of PLN 1,300,000. Thanks to this help the pupils from schools can learn on equipment, which is used in modern garages on a daily basis, and as a result they are not alienated from realities of automotive aftermarket.
The first school which joined the programme this year was Mechanical school no 1 named after Szczepan Humbert in Krakow. During the last few years, the school won many rewards and prizes: Vocational Education Leader in a job of technician of mechatronics in 2011, Vocational Oscar for technician of mechatronics in 2012, School with Passion in Lesser Poland in 2012 and EDU-inspirations Comenius 2013. This is important, as the Young HR programme is joined only by schools with high potential for development, and which want to increase qualifications of their pupils.
- I would like to emphasise the fact that activities of Young HR programme are not any form of charity – said during inauguration Witold Kmieciak, Member of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA. - The market needs well qualified employees. Currently Inter Cars employs around 5,000 people and is still developing. That is why we are waiting for you, pupils. Thanks to the most modern equipment and trainings you have very big possibilities. Right now everything depends on you and your involvement.
After the school in Krakow, another 4 schools shall joint the Young HR programme. On 28th April there was a grand opening of Practical Training Centre in Automotive School Group in Bydgoszcz – a school which was chosen an Automotive School of the Year 2013 in Olympic Games of Automotive Techniques. In May, an SKP in Radom shall be opened. Next two school will join the programme after summer holidays, in new school year.
