Inter Cars has summarized another school year of activity of the “Young HR” programme. During the conference, which was held on 11 – 12 July, with representatives of schools, the existing achievements of the programme were discussed, together with future plans. The participants of the programme were invited to Inter Cars Training Centre in Cząstków Polski, where Robert Kierzek, the President of the Board, welcomed all the guests.

– Our „Young HR” will have to be given a new form. I do hope that thanks to this many school graduates, instead of looking for their luck in other branches of the industry, will stay in their profession which they had been learning for so many years. As a result of that all of them will start business career in mechanical garages, and some of them even in Inter Cars structures - said Robert Kierzek, the President of the Board of Inter Cars.

Among new ideas, one could see reorganization of existing trainings, the apprentice program, which the pupils would be having in garages associated in garage chains of Inter Cars, training trips for best students and soft skill trainings (e.g. About how to exist and operate in the labour market). Participants of the meeting were also shown a new idea of Master Mechanic Junior programme which refers to Master Mechanic programme for garages. Within the „junior” version the pupils will be given a game, where in the form of a virtual fun they will be developing their technical knowledge. In total, pupils from 14 countries of Europe, where the Company has its branches, will be invited to take part in the game, and its finale will be an international contest.

In order to make it a bit more clear for the tutors what the scope of activity of Inter Cars is, they were invited to visit a training centre of Inter Cars, where the first part of the conference took place, and later they were taken to Zakroczym to show them the new ILS European Logistics and Development Centre. The guests were presented the most modern and unique sorting system in the warehouse, which will be the biggest and the most modern logistics centre of the automotive industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

The „Young HR” is a project of Inter Cars SA, in which the Company cooperates with 17 schools all over Poland, offering them modern equipment for repairing vehicles and diagnosing car malfunctions and also delivering the know-how needed to educate future mechanics. The Company also supports knowledge contests and internships for the best students. Up to the present, there were 378 trainings for 7,000 participants organized within the project.
