Inter Cars won a competition HR INNOVATOR 2016. Jury awarded a project for management and sales forces of the company, called “Development Highway”.
HR INNOVATOR is a competition for companies which run innovative projects regarding human resources management. The winner of this year’s edition in category “Company with Polish capital” is Inter Cars. The company has been awarded for “Development Highway - coherent, gamified for of development for managers and sales forces”.
The award ceremony of the contest took place on Monday (9 May) during XXIII Congress of HR in Muranów Conference Centre in the Museum of Polish Jews POLIN in Warsaw. The reward for Inter Cars was collected by Joanna Pieńkowska, HR Manager and Radosław Sujka, Training Manager. Before, they had presented the project to the jury and participants of the congress.
“Development Highway”
„Development Highway” is an innovative project aimed at development of sales and managerial competences, as well as development of knowledge of Inter Cars product range and available tools.
- We managed to combine those two areas in a unique way, thanks to this they complete each other and give the synergy effect in learning process. The specificity of our organization - a system of over 200 branches nationwide, wide product range and its diversity, numerous sales support programmes - that was all one of challenges we had to face - says Radosław Sujka, Training Manager in Inter Cars.
The “Development Highway” is composed of two elements. The first one is the Manager’s Club, which is prepared for the managers from Inter Cars HQ and branches. Whilst Drive is a development programme for salesmen and sales representatives. In total, over 2000 people take part in the project. Each of them can count on individual path of competence development.
The project was packed in an attractive form of a tour through the United States by the legendary Route 66. There are traditional trainings, e-learnings, case study, films and training tasks prepared for the participants.

Within the HR INNOVATOR contest the jury awards innovative projects realized in the area of human resources management. These should be new solutions with technological, organizational and social aspect. The initiatives which resulted in solving a particular problem of a company, improved its activity and efficiency were rewarded.
